Admission Procedure for Indian Boarders

  1. An Admission Test is conducted for Indian Boarders in the month of December.
  2. In order to enroll an Indian Boarder the parents are required to send the School a Demand Draft of Rs. 1200/- towards payment of an Admission Form and a Prospectus, any time between Mid – August and the first week of  October for a Random Test to be conducted in the first week of  December.
  3. Apart from the Demand Draft, kindly send complete details with regard to the class in which admission is sought, as well as the complete address with Pincode No. for correspondence and a valid functional Contact No.
  4. After receiving the Form & Prospectus kindly fill up the Registration Form and return it with a Demand Draft of Rs. 1500/- towards Registration Fees. The child will however, only be registered on receipt of the appropriate Fees remitted by Demand Draft made out in favour of  the Principal, Auckland House School, Shimla.
  5. Security Deposit is non refundable where admission has been granted and the student has failed to join.

Admission Procedure for Foreign / NRI Boarders

  1. An Admission Test is conducted for Foreign / NRI Boarders in the month of March.
  2. Overseas students parents need to send the School a Demand Draft of US $ 15.00/- towards payment of an Admission Form and a Prospectus any time between the first week of December to the first week of February for a Random Test to be conducted in the month of March.
  3. Apart from the Demand Draft kindly send complete details with regard to the class in which admission is sought, as well as the complete address with Pincode No. for correspondence and a valid functional Contact No.
  4. After receiving the Form & Prospectus kindly fill up the Registration Form and return it with a Demand Draft of US $ 50.00. /- towards Registration Fees. The child will however only be registered on receipt of the appropriate Fees remitted by Demand Draft made out in favour of the Principal, Auckland House School, Shimla.
  5. Overseas students must possess a Student Visa as they need to submit their passports in the school. It is mandatory to register them with the Foreigners Registration Officer within fourteen days of entry in India.
  6. Fees for Foreign / NRI students should be paid in equivalent Indian currency.
  7. Security deposit is non refundable where admission has been granted and the student has failed to join.
  8. Confirmation of Admission:
    • Admission is subject to the result of a Random Test and an Interview.
    • An original Transfer Certificate from the previous school duly countersigned by the respective State Education Department is required to be submitted within one month of joining the school or else the admission stands cancelled.

Kindly Note
The Admission Fee, Building Fund and Security must be paid in advance to complete the admission formalities. After the completion of the admission process, no fees will be refunded under any circumstance. All admissions will be based strictly on the merit of the candidate. Any effort to seek admission by offering a donation to the school or by some recommendation will debar a student from getting the admission.

Admission Procedure for Day scholars
The Admission Process is designed to enroll students exhibiting promise. A Registration Form is included with the Prospectus. Registration does not imply admission, but it is subject to the availability of seats and fulfilling of the specified admission criteria. The Registration Fee is non refundable.

Prospectus and Registration Forms are available on dates specified on the Notice Board on a cash payment of Rs. 1000/- (except Sundays) from the School Office only. The address and contact details are listed below:

(Kindly note that the school office remains closed between 1:00p.m. to 2:00 p.m for Lunch)

Registration formalities will be completed only at Auckland House School
Appropriate age for Admission for the Session 2020 – 2021
Nursery: The child should be born between - 01/09/2016 to 31/08/2017

Parents are requested to pay Rs. 1000/- for an Application Form and Rs. 1500/- as Registration Fees i.e a total sum of Rs. 2500/- while submitting the Application Form.

1. A parent or guardian of a new student seeking admission to Nursery must note:  that the   following documents are necessary at the time of Registration.

  1. A self attested photocopy of the original Municipal Corporation / Cantt. Board/Gram Panchayat Birth Certificate.kindly note that the date of birth once entered in school record will not be changed for any resoans.
  2. For Christians a copy of the Baptismal Certificate is to be attached as well.
  3. A self attested Photocopy of the child's Aadhar card.
  4. One recent passport sized photograph of the child.
  5. A self-addressed and stamped envelope with the child’s name clearly written on it.

2.  Confirmation of Admission:

  1. For classes L.K.G to IX Admission is subject to the result of a Random Test and an Interview.
  2. Students joining U.K.G or above cannot be given confirmed admission unless a Transfer Certificate from their previous School duly countersigned by the respective State Education Department is submitted within one month of their joining the school or else the admission stands cancelled.
  3. Security deposit is non refundable where admission has been granted and the student has failed to join.
